About
Victoria Beyer (pseudonym), is a watercolor and oil painter specializing in figurative work.
She grew up surrounded by nature, which inspired her love for art and expression. After studying construction engineering and working in construction and interior design, she returned to her passion and completed a Botanical Art Diploma with the Society of Botanical Artists, focusing on watercolor plant portraits.
She later expanded her skills with courses in naturalistic and scientific illustration and natural science infographics. Over time, her personal story began to shape her work, shifting from traditional botanical art to exploring human themes through botanical subjects, drawing parallels between human experience and botanical survival strategies.
Two of her paintings were selected to exhibit in the “Ellas Ilustran Botánica” exhibition at the Royal Botanic Garden Madrid. The collaborative work with My Modern Met led Victoria to create two introductory art courses for their readers focused on nature and watercolor.
Being a member of the Deutsche Botanische Kunst Verein (DBKV) and Kunstverein Bad Hersfeld keep her connected to the art community.
Her work is held in private collections across Chile, Germany, and the USA.
